Your club never pays a platform fee. The amount shown at entry checkout is exactly what the organizer set — nothing added by rgatta. Club payments go directly to the organizer via Stripe. The platform fee is invoiced separately to the organizer only.

Frequently asked questions
Do I pay before I know how many entries I'll get?
No. The per-regatta fee is invoiced after the entry deadline closes, based on confirmed entries only. You never pay up front.
What if entries are refunded or scratched?
Only confirmed, paid entries count toward the fee basis. Waitlisted, scratched, and cancelled entries are excluded.
What is included in the platform fee?
Everything on the platform — unlimited events and event types, lineup management, announcements, volunteer scheduling, regatta cloning, results posting, admin review, and all email notifications. No per-event, per-email, or per-seat add-ons.
How am I billed?
A separate Stripe invoice is sent to you after entries close for the per-regatta fee. The annual subscription is billed at sign-up and renewed each year.
Is there a free trial?
Pay-as-you-go is free to start — you pay nothing until entries are confirmed. There's no risk in creating and publishing your first regatta.
What if my regatta is cancelled before entries close?
No per-regatta fee is charged. You only pay on confirmed entries.
Can I switch plans mid-year?
You can upgrade to the annual subscription at any time. It applies to all future regattas run that year.
Does my club pay a platform fee?
No. Clubs pay only the entry fee set by the organizer. There are no platform charges added to club checkout.
Are there hidden fees added to club checkout?
No. The amount shown to clubs at checkout is exactly what the organizer set — nothing more.
